The day after President Trump was removed by Twitter, Twitter launched a huge purge of any "alt-right" profiles who were "spreading miss-information or conspiracy theories". As this was expected my many of the more awake, there had already been a huge move to alternative social media platforms. GAB was my preferred as Parler is difficult to navigate and is lacking in functionality. Parler's hosts removed them but GAB owns their own servers.
