Our inspirational and awesome National Anthem, written in the 1870s by Thomas Bracken.
Made New Zealand's second official National Anthem 22nd Nov 1977
Usually only the first first is sung, firstly in Te Reo and then English. The poem was put to music in 1876

3. Peace, not war, shall be our boast,
But, should foes assail our coast,
Make us then a mighty host,
God defend our free land.
Lord of battles in Thy might,
Put our enemies to flight,
Let our cause be just and right,
God defend New Zealand

 

NOTICE in the second to last line it does NOT read "let our cause be just and left". Already the socialists have removed The Lords Prayer from Parliament, and also any reference to God's Son Jesus. There would be mass social mutiny in New Zealand if they even proposed to edit, change or remove the National Anthem, but to push their socialist agenda they will try anything.

If it came to that (let's all pray it never does) their liberal political snake oil spin-doctors ( the NZ Media) will twist a nice tale of virtual signalling inclusion and diversity in their belief they're the best social mediators to help change what's best for our society, and they must know they're unbiased professional journalists - Yeah Right.

In reality the liberal NZ media are a pack of compliant rats in an closed infinite mirror maze admiring themselves.
